Senior Jackets Ceremony
This week’s senior event was joyous and informative!
Prior to the senior jacket presentation, our director, Mr. Rodney, gave the students a brief history on the origins and meanings of the letterman jacket as well as a few of its social constructs.
The school presented each senior with their jackets, helping them put them on as well. Afterwards, the SLO prefects presented the seniors with a beautiful cake, yellow roses and a speech by their head prefect.
The room was filled with appreciation for this wonderful group of students and they, in return, showed much appreciation for their teachers by inviting them to join everyone for a traditional meal provided by the seniors!
